Logan's Build...

And you`re still thinking everything is fine?
Pick up some plates and add gussets to avoid thing like that.
Youcan be happy that it was on a lake and not in front of a school. Would be bad if you lost control and drive over a few kids...

It's obvious in this picture the welds have failed.

I don't think he's driving this thing on public streets anymore - it's just an off-road toy isn't it Logan?

I mean, when I see that something is going to fail, shouldn`t i mention it?
And you can see, it actually broke...

Logan's Epic Build Thread Fail
I hope this thread continues - Logan's always got somethin' up his sleeve. I'll bet he's already got it sorted. I heard he's gettin' a new welder from someone.

Come here and look at at. Broke 1/4" away from where it was welded. Nice try though.
Still my DD. Drove it 100km home like that with zero issue. What it seems to have been from is the way I put it back together. The way I bolted it together was tranny first, then forced it back into position. This apparently put a lot more strain on it the it should have on it. Or so my dads friend was saying today when he was checking it out. I welded it back together with everything bolted in place this time. Then removed it, beat the **** out of the weld with a 10lbs sledge, welded again, and installed it.
That was totally my bad, but now its fixed and has 18000km on it. Pulled 3 tractors out, 8 cars/trucks, and my self 5 times. Nothing has budged.
See, after I built this I tested it in real life. Not in theory like some people do. Nothing broke when I beat the **** out of it in 2wd, 4hi,and 4low. After it passed that test, I drove it on the road. And nothing has moved from my original measurements. Like I said, come warmer weather, it will all get sandblasted and re welded with more gussets.

28 000km on the new set up now, and no issues yet.
Now I have started the body work. Over the next month I hope to get majority of it done, and finish my doors.
