My bigger news is Ive bought something to drive while whatever happens with my blazer happens.

Decided it was my time for an old half ton! Its a 1988 c1500 silverado. Brown as can be! 5.7l and just 212 000km on it. Bought it friday and waiting till tuesday till I can get ins and a plate. Managed to do a pretty good job of vacuuming 25yrs of dirt and dust out of the interior. So far as I can tell the driver door key doesnt work, power windows do work, radio doesnt work, tail gate doesnt latch, and have some burnt out lights (inc gauges). It was sitting all winter so needs new oils and it ran much better with fresh gas. Other than some cracked or missing trim its in great shape. Rust is only bad by wheel wells. Considering I payed $700 for it I think its great. Bonus is the cap, in side is set up for camping. p.o. had ply wooded it all and insulated it without loosing space, ill take a pic of it later but its done quite well. Same size tires as blazer so ill probably trade em over and the battery too.
I've also done a bit of tlc to my moms van in the background there too. Its bean super reliable this whole time.
