Default mild lift for 30x9.50-15 tires

i am considering a mild lift for a set of 30x9.50-15 tires mounted on a set of 15x8 black rock type-d rims with 4.5'' backspacing, i was thinking maybe building own rear shackles for 1 1/2'' lift and doing the torsion bar adjustmaent up front, is 1 1/2'' too much for the front, do not want to wear anything out prematurely, i have read that 30'' tires do fit without rubbing but i thought a mild lift 1-1 1/2'' would make sure they dont....any thoughts on this?? its a 97 4 door blazer!

it is basically like you said: 30's fit with out issues. playing it safe is a good call, but you shouldn't need any extra in the rear unless it is just to level out the look. an inch or 1.5 up front should allow you to bounce them around pretty hard without issues. just know that they will stick out a bit

You should be alright with what you said. Most people are okay with 30's and no lift but since you're on wider wheels, you may need to lift some. You should be alright with 1-1.5" but if your springs and bars are worn down it may be necessary to lift higher. I just recently put on 31x10.5 on 4" backspacing and right now I'm up about 4.5 full turns on the tbar which is roughly an inch. I also cut my fenders back and to be honest, that helped a lot more than the torsion bar crank did

i have a 97 Blazer 4 doors, with 30x9.50r15 and 15x8 Wheels, and you need the torsion lift and shackle lift if you don't want to get rubbing at full lock

Thanks....might try and find a 15x8 wheel with 5'' backspacing, if not then the 4.5 should work!
