my friend has a LS1 in his 1st gen. but im lookin to race it. i have people saying blazers cant compete. but i believe that they can hang in there. i kno they are heavy. i already got a paint scheme in mind. so twin turbo or supercharged? and an LS1?

get a 6.0 LS engine, they're cheaper than actual LS1s. i saw engine, comp, harness, and accessories go for 1500 the other day a supercharger would be cool, centrifugal, twin screw, any of them really.


but if you're going to boost it grab a 5.3L, lower compression.


on tech theres this guy that amde a monster camaro, i'll see if i can find any links to LSx blazers

The 6L has a lower compression than the 5.3L.

Personally I would go with a deisel out of a 2004-2005.5 chev. Unlimited power with heavy modification and easily make 1200 ft/lbs at the wheels.With that much power in such a small vehicle, it will be quick.

the LQ4 and the LQ9? i know the LQ4 has lower compression than the latter.

a duramax would be pretty sweet
