Default my 1985 4X4 SLOWEST build ever

This is going to chronicle the build of my newly acquired 85 4X4 s 10 blazer. The first things on the list are a new paint job after the engine gets rebuilt.

First thing I did though, was replace the worn door pin bushings

pics of my truck the first day I got it:

pins and bushings to go in...i already had 2 new ones I had left over from the 93.....no pics tho....the 20 bux spent, and half an hour labor was way worth it. Just have someone help you. i used a jack, and my little brother when he got home from school

passenger side before pins and bushings installed

passenger side after fix.....its too close to tell, but I DON'T have to lift and slam the door anymore

drivers side before the install

drivers side, after

Looks good, and good for you on fixing the pins before they got any worse. I probably have you beat on slowest build though :P

i was cleaning it out a little bit, and found this...a brand new, never been driven on, original spare It was flat of course, so I added air, ran soapy water over it, and no leaks....

then I took the home made reciever off:

because THIS looked uber safe

what engine are you going to go with? I consider the 2.8 a boat anchor.
