my 1985 4X4 SLOWEST build ever
They cut the top holes off for some reason. Pretty sure they are the ones you need to use to put a v8 in a 4x4 to raise the engine up.
I thought I had better pics of the mounts but I guess not, try to get some tomorrow.

time to remove the plexi glass patch that someone did on my blazer...I called around and a new one with new rubber is $120 installed, so Ima go for it:
here it is still in plexiglass:

if my truck is gonna sit in this windy weather, its gonna be air tight lol
I also called for a used guaranteed engine..$750..its gonna be a week or 2 though...

so even though my engine has been ticking/slapping i still start it every morning and move it into the garage...well......
this morning, it started, but is running hella rough...i gas it, and she smoothes out....so Since she is almost empty on gas, i drove her to the gas station (literally on the next corner) and pump 2.5 gallons.....she still isnt knocking........i pull into my driveway, and sure as shyt she is ticking.....
Im starting to wonder if its just a lifter getting stuck?!?!?!?! Im wondering if itll be worth the work of pulling the valve covers (It needs new gaskets anyways) and cranking the engine and watching if all the pushrods are going up/down....any input, thoughts???

i was bored, so I decided to pull the cowl.....ever since I bought my 63 d100, i clean all of my cars cowls, even if the car is 2 years old..the half hour it takes to pull and clean the cowl is way easier then 8+hours cutting, grinding, welding....
Before:

After:
its not a lot, but at least I wont get hit in the face with debris when I turn the fan on
