Here are the new pictures, all Mounted and secured. Brackets are custom made, Would anyone be interested in a set? To make a 98+ Brush Guard fit a 95,96,or 97?

Notice the Passenger fender in this one... That's a rattle can paint job.

Let me know what you think, Just started a new job so Hopefully a lift, rims, and tires are next on the list.

Truck looks really nice man. Couple questions...

1 - When you hit the deer isnt the meat all bruised and stuff? Deer is good, and i would keep one if I hit it too.
2 - Was it dead or do you have to go finish it off? I wouldnt be able to kill it unless it was by accident.
3 - How on earth you hit 2 deer? I hardly even see deer where I live.

1)The meat wasn't that bruised, There were a few parts that were to bad to save but I would say I got 90% of the meat out of the deer that was possible.
2) After I hit it, it was still alive. I was only about 2 minutes from my house at time. Went and got a pick up and by the time I came back he had died. Couldn't have been more than 5 minutes. But we did bring a gun just in case.
3) I've actually hit 3 deer but the 2nd one did no damage. It's a daily thing to see deer in Ohio. Usually where I live you see anywhere from 10-20 a night. They are HIGHLY over populated in Ohio. Normally I have to drive 10 mph slower than the speed limit to ensure I don't hit any. The 3rd one I got I was coming over a hit and right when I got to the top I hit him. Couldn't have been avoided. Lets just say this, your lucky if you don't hit a deer every year. But I'm glad I did in a way. Got the meat and I made my Blazer look better. lol

I live in Wisconsin and I see a deer every month or so. I'm not in the worst deer area but the highways are notorious for deer crossing. Nice job repairing the truck. It sucks that it's taken so much damage but at least you could repair it on your own.

Also, that brush guard looks killer! You said you had custom brackets made for it though. I'm looking into a brush guard for my '96 Blazer myself. How much did the guard you have now run you?

I got the guard from craigslist for $150 and made the custom brackets. I was toying the idea around of making a few pairs and seeing if there was any interest for it.

Wow that brush guard fits! Most of them look like they are set up to high.

I can't stress how much this brush guard saved my blazer tonight! Roads were really wet out and some idiot cut off traffic in front of me and chain reaction I ended up rear ending someone. Put a Dent in my Passenger fender, that's it! I'll end up replacing it but it saved it big time! If anyone is on the ropes about getting one def get it!

New update. Over the next few weeks the blazer is going to be getting a overhaul. Just got some new tires for it for a steal that I couldn't pass up so that means it's time to lift it! Got the tires, and 2 front shocks. Rears are on order and will be here next week. Body lift is on it's way too. Soft 8's are right around the corner again too. So here are the pictures.
