I PICKED THIS BLAZER UP FOR $700 knowing it needed a new transmission. the old was showing serious signs of slippage and would not shift unless gas was let off and the over drive was obsolete... anyways, picked up a used transmission from the junk yard for $350 and had a great running 4 wheel drive for $1050! my plan was to have this as only my hunting truck but I have since fallen in love with this old girl ( Anna May). I have had her in water that seeped through the bottom of the doors and hooked up to a boat twice her weight. I figured what the hell, lets build her up a little bit and ride her out! here are some pictures of what all ive done so far! hope yall enjoy!

oh I almost forgot some details, the roof rack I built out of aluminum rafters. had some left over from a construction job. I put 31x10.5x15 tires on front, and 32x11.5x15 in rear. a total of $190 in tires putting my total to $1190. I put a light bar on top that I bought from my neighbor for $40 dollars. he needed a 50" but got a 52". this puts my total to $1230. I bought the other lights at junk yard for $20, I pulled them off an old totaled jeep Cherokee. bringing the total to $1250. I just did my exhaust today using old exhaust my neighbor had off his Tacoma and tundra. I through a cherry bomb on there that my buddy bought and didn't like so he gave to me. my future mods wil be a lift... I NEED INPUT! I am not to mechanically inclined so if its a tricky job I am sure I can overcome it... I am hearing things about a throttle body spacer so I am about to start my research and possibly do that. also when the old indestructible 4.3 dies I have a 5.7 vortec lined up. I am slowly starting this process already by getting things together IE. electric fan, radiator, company I am having reflash my computer and still trying to figure out additional wiring to include injector wires.
