Hey im doing some similar work to my 2000 zr2, check out synergy offroad.com they have a super slick winch mount that mounts into your stock bumper, I see that you wanna go custom but its just a thought. Im stationed at ft drum and feel ya on those deployments. If you got any questions lemme know and ill see if I can point ya the right way. Also my build is Tank maybe get some ideas from that as I progress. Good luck.

God bless both of you guys, and stay safe. Where are you deployed at santmire? My gf's dad is a LTC currently deployed to Camp Virginia in Kuwait.

Sounds like a good build you've got planned. Can't wait to see some pictures once progress is able to resume.

your build sounds similar to how mine is coming along, I may have to check out this winch mount since I still have my stock bumper
