My small 96 Blazer build
Got the front brake lines in with new nuts flared on and tabs welded on to hold everything in place. The tie rod is fully welded and I have to pick up some new nuts for the rear lines since I put standard on there when I originally did the lines and stupid me bought a line with metric fittings doh!! Owell a couple nuts is cheaper and quicker than a whole new line. I'll move my rear axle forward tomorrow and then it's a matter of bleeding the brakes and going back over an rechecking everything and waiting for my pitman arm and I should be ready to take it for a spin around the lot!!!
Thanks for all the compliments guys! I haven't touched the thing in a couple weeks just due to not having any time and not wanting to spend any money on it before vacation in a couple weeks. I really only need to finish drilling my pitman arm, bleed the brakes, and move the axle forward and it "should" be drivable but I just can't seem to find the time
Well in the 19 minutes since I made my last post I managed to drop my pitman arm at the machine shop so they can finish drilling the hole for me lol. He said no charge but I'll give him a few dollars and certainly my future business. Perhaps this will be my push to find time to get it drivable!
