Yeah, I tried posting pics through Photo*uckit on another forum yesterday, and FAIL. It was on their end.
Beautiful welds on that cover! A work of art! Lot better than the paper-thin stamped garbage they put on trucks today. I replaced one on a Explorer Sport Trac that was barely 5 years old, and rotted right through.

The welds do look really good. I just had my diff cover replaced with a dorman. While it fit well and it wasn't made of 99% rust like my old one I was shocked how thin it was.
From my readings tho if you reuse the same PCM you should be ok with not having to do one but if you use a donor PCM you will need to do one. Don't quote me on any of that tho because I haven't read any of it in a long time now lol!
