yea if u can post pics of how it sits today and of the welding that would be great. where dod u get the new leaf spring perches?

 

My photobucket is acting a little screwy (yay technology), but the brake extension version 1.0 (I'm gonna redo it to something a bit prettier)

Bottom of the chrome trim is at 39" in the center of the wheel arch with BFG 31s at about 9-10/32s of tread on them. I'll try to reload the perch shots in the AM.

The perches themselves were from "Bryke Racing" (found on ebay) and I am rather pleased with the quality they were and the service they provided when ordered

 

i really like the look of your ride nunya the white an blake an the rake is really nice sometimes rakes on lifted trucks dont look all that good but yours is really nice an mellow.. bump

 

The Toyota is gone, I dont exactly miss it. Was a typical rust belt Un-maintained pile when I got it, body was nasty from the one body line down, ate 3 sets of head gaskets (known problem with the 3.slow v6), something was always broke without the fun of breaking it... My Nissan though... He's my baby and I'd do anything to keep him on the road (to the point I have a spare truck sitting just for the fact of having a spare frame and shell)

Yes I left the old perches on for the time being as I used them for "guides" to help with lineup to make sure it tracked strait. I'll cut them off eventually.

 

The pic don't do it justice but I got a set of torsion keys in to help the front up a little

It's still got some rake but not as bad, don't feel like your always driving downhill. The intermittent sputter under cretins acceleration seems to have cleared up too since I ditched the cheapo cone filter that was on there for a stock air filter housing. That makes me happy.

 

Looks good Nunya! Any plans for bringing the front up a bit more to level it or you staying with a mild rake... So how much did the axle flip give you as gain... With shackles I'm at 37 inches from ground to center of wheel well...So I'm guessing the flip gave you 4" or ? How different is the ride on the back now going this route?

 

the front gotta go up more (especially since there is plans for more weight up there, wife wants the brush guard you have, or something ARB-ish), it's just manageable right now so I can move on to other puzzle pieces that 'need' attention. Gotta make the appointment for pipes on Monday, figure out how I'm gonna make mounts for some of the lights I have laying, and a remote start is needed (gotta remember this is gonna be my wife DD as well as a toy). The ride didn't get too muck stiffer, but enough to be noticeably not stock, at least after the shock mounts were extended so they can actually travel both ways. My wheel arch at the center is 39" from the ground (have to find the pre-measurement pic) and going from a 235/75 to a 31 helped the height as well (BFG A/Ts 9/32 at their low points @ 35psi)

My Nissan is an 88 Pathfinder SE


He's got plenty of wrench time on him between maintenance and upgrading (plus stuff that was just kinda... stuff I wanted). Not gonna bore here with all the build specs on him though, not the correct place to ramble about that one I would assume
