Phenom3030 just bought a 94 Jimmy
Hi all,
Just bought a 1994 GMC Jimmy SLE with 196xxx miles! Pretty stoked about it since it's our first 4x4 vehicle. Bought it as a winter vehicle for my wife. Not looking to do much to it besides maintain it and maybe some budget mods.
Here's a few photos:

And found the original sticker with the manual!

And a few interior photos:

Looks pretty damn clean, how much did they stick ya with it?
Whats the interior look like? digital or analog gauges ect? Nice pickup, I wish I could have those wheels in that good of shape, the ones on mine need some TLC

Thanks guys!
We found it on craigslist and picked it up for $1800. The interior is really nice for being 18years old. I'll post pics of it as well. It has analog gauge. I Googled digital gauge and those look nice. I wonder if it's possible to easily swap gauge?
Only really bad part exterior wise is some rust on the passenger fender and door. I may use it for some bodywork practice.
I might start a "running log" in the Builds section to document any of the various things done to our Jimmy.

Not a bad price at all, If you google changing from analog to digital on these things, it will come up with some results, usually its the other way around as the digital ones are known to have bad solder joints, and the power supplies go bad, but if you have any electronic knowledge, or are willing to pay someone for a digital cluster rebuild, then they will last forever.
Added a few more photos.
Are there any advantages to the digi dash vs. analog?
If we do any mod's they'll most definitely be of the budget style. We aren't looking to drop much $ into Jimmy, just have him haul the family safely during the winter. We do have our other project vehicles that get the attention so we know what the "mod bug" feels like.
Hopefully we don't get the itch to do stuff to Jimmy as well. hehe.
