Still trying to figure out were to mount these switchs at. there isnt really a good place to mount a set of switches.
If you don't smoke, you can modify the ashtray, make it a mechanical fold down (think PS1 tray just upside down). And mount switches there. Gives a stock look, and gives you something to modify.

If you are looking for a good 10" sub, i would recommend a Cerwin-Vega VEGA3104. I have one and I am very impressed with it. But it is DVC so you can only run it at 2 or 8 ohms. I think there is a single voice coil version as well.

Got some new tires today.
Went with the GT-Radial Adventuro M/T.

They are pretty decent looking, and they make lots of noise on the pavement, however i will test them out this weekend and see how they do

but first i will have to do a little trimming as they do rub a bit on the inner fender at the lower quarter moulding by the door. not sure if i can remove that.. so might have to cut some more.

Thanks!, the hids are on my low beams, did the quad beam mod so when i click on my high beams, the low beams stay on. And ya the tires were the cheapest gnarlyiest i could buy. paid just under 500$ for the set of 4. ordered a 5th for a spare today. the snow is melting up in the hills so going to go for a run tommorow and give'em a good test out!

Had some time at the end of the day at work to drill a couple holes and mount up my Hella 6" fogs. however when i was mounting up the passanger side one, i fumbled the light, and the it hit the concrete lens side down! so the lens is all busted up. but for now i will just leave the covers on. Still have to wire them up, and wire up my backup fog lights aswell. might tackle that this evening..

Went out for a rip today to try out my new tires. Could only find one trail that had a little standing water on it, and some mucky stuff, so i ran through it a couple times. Im pretty impressed with these tires. they worked awesome in the sand, and dug like champions.

Well little update , had to replace the idler arm yet again. this one lasted 6 months or so. definitley glad i went with the moog with lifetime warranty . Also found a hell of a deal on a brand new rebuilt 4.3 long block along with a new fuel spider that was for a 97 that was rebuilt for a customer at a local machine shop, but the customer didnt come back for it. there asking 500$ or best offer. going to have a look at it on sunday and if its what they say it is, the jimmy will be getting a new powerplant. there isnt anything really wrong with my old 4.3 except for a few oil leaks, and its getting a little tired with almost 400,000 kms on it, and i do travel about 5 hours to vancouver and back once a month for training at BCIT and would be nice not have to worry as much about having any problems.

Any tips or recomendations of stuff i should be changing or doing while the engine is out?

If front chassis ride height is out of spec, premature idler arm wear is only the beginning of your problems with suspension and steering parts.
