MF = Mud flaps?

The mudflaps are the ones that Chevrolet (and every dealership) sells. I got the ones with the blank stainless steel piece, then got them custom cut with ZR2.

Had to make some custom mounts for the rear mudflaps.

Yesterday I got my gauge lights switched to LEDs.

Process was very smooth thanks for Oktain and his dash how-to video! Only major difference I noticed, was that his is standard, mine is auto with the column shifter. So to get the HL switch control unplugged, I had to switch it into gear and keep my foot on the brake (for the bezel to clear the shifter). Not a big deal but makes it a bit more tricky.

I did my research on the bulbs, and it paid off big time! There are literally zero hot or dull spots (Though the pics show otherwise, not noticeable in real life). I can also dim the LEDs, which often doesn't work due to the low resistance of them. They are a heck of a lot darker blue than in the pics.

Got some blue LED footwell lights in the mail, along with a white LED dome light and white LED license plate lights. I hate the yellow glow of filament bulbs!

Nice, glad I could help out the little bit I did... yeah I run into that problem with the column shifter taking my Sierra's dash apart too... E-brake = your best friend.

I would imagine! Too bad mine is still broken

Thanks to that vid I have it memorized! I think I could take it apart in my sleep. Which is good because it appears that I knocked out a 4x4 switch light. Also have to change the HVAC to LEDs now. Those LED's are addicting!!

I have the same LED tails got them about 6 months ago.. beware though.. mine have melted!!!!
the red caps of the bulbs are melted and the clear lenses have COMPETELY come off.. the black seal melted in the sun one day!

they have blown through 4 light bulbs and have fried 5 of the LEDS up top.. the company that has "top rated customer service" has yet to get back with me. so just beware!!!!

keep up the good work though and i hope you have better luck witht eh tails then i did

Thanks for the heads up!

That is horrible!! I knew they aren't top notch quality, as with all aftermarket parts for our truck, but that is just brutal. I have no problems so far. I hope it stays that way!
