Got the Blazer back finally.

Tinted the lights too. Turned out pretty good, I used the Krylon clear coat and it looks good. Darker than my old signals, so I hope they still give out light and look good.

I'll toss some pics up of it sometime, but currently have no Blackberry for the camera because it's broken now!

Also got new headlights in the mail and I'm looking to sell mine.

A note to that ad to: I can get a chrome bezel back on them once my new headlight come in the mail. A sudden brainwave made me realize I can put the black ones on mine instead of having to paint, and return the others to stock all in one swoop. lol

Well here's how she stands at the moment.

Got a new bushguard, new cowl hood , my fender is repaired, the grill is now painted and by the shop, so it's much better than my paint job that came out flat. I have a black eye right now, one stock headlight and one black one. And the signals that were on before.

I'm just waiting to paint my headlight bezels on my new black ones and waiting for my headlights before I put my new tinted signals on.

Pic is for a contest on Facebook.

Thanks man!

Do you plan on doing your Sierra up quite a bit??

$0

GM charges such an outrageous price for a stock replacement, that the cowl is the same price. So when I got my truck fixed under insurance I got the cowl for free!

In the end it will cost me $700 for my deductible. But still not bad for new signals, headlights, bushguard, hood, bumper, etc.

I changed out my sparkplugs today with some NGK Platinum ones. The old ones have almost 110,000km on them so I figured it was time. They appeared to have worn pretty well, nothing tragic looking.

The spark plugs were a lot easier to change than I thought it would be. Got it done in about 30 mins.

Also finished painting my headlight bezels today, so with a couple more days of curing they should be good to go!
