Forgot about this little story. I flushed and added new antifreeze a couple weeks ago, and found these on top of my frame in my engine bay:

I brought them to the autobody shop that worked on my truck while it was damaged. Apparently a guy there had been complaining about missing them for weeks lol. I'm amazed they stayed on there after all the puddles i hit.

I also got my replacement HID ballast and bulb and installed em.

Man your truck is sick. Pretty close to what I dreamed of having my Blazer look like one day... then I made it look like a Sierra lol

I believe I have those same headlights ..how have they held up with the HID`s so far..I was wanting to put HID`s in but worried they may melt the light casings?

I worried about that too. You're talking about the focal reflector on the low beam that is inside the housing right? I do believe it is a lighter metal like aluminum, and has been alright so far. The lights run pretty hot, but I'll keep monitoring it in the coming weeks.

There is a guy in ZR2USA that has these lights and HID's and hasn't had problems thus far either.

I will have to keep an eye on your posts to see how they are doing. Cause I recall when I got the lights I remember seeing a max rating on the bulbs that could be used..I dont recall if it was on the lights or the paperwork in the box from manufacturer...Hope they do well I want HID`s also.... Looks great!

HIDs and housings are still holding up.

It's been a while since I last updated, mostly because not a whole lot is
happening. I recently graduated and all that noise, so it's kept me busy. Also, just took the Blazer up to the lake for a week with some friends. Convoy pic:

I also won my facebook contest for $500 in accessories, so thanks a ton to anyone who voted for me!!

I just looked into a Kenwood indash touchscreen. It's the DDX418, lowest line one, but still looks good! If I install it myself it will only cost me $130 out of my pocket, for the touchscreen, antenna adapter, wiring harness, dash kit and steering wheel control adapter. Sounds good to me!!

What do you guys think about that unit?

You're truck looks amazing. Love the mods you've done. If I had the money u'r truck alone would convince me to buy a black ZR2.

thats not a bad choice whatsoever but why not pony up another 100 or so and get the navigation unit? that way you can have audio, video, and also navigation in case you get lost?
