Debadged the sides. I'm going to keep the rear tailgate Blazer emblem on.
I like the way it looks, makes the whole vehicle look shinier somehow.

I had no idea that removing the glue would be so much work!

I took the moulding on my K1500 before I got the blazer. Someone told me to use a heat gun while taking the moulding off. It made it alot easier! But it looks like you got it cleaned off pretty good. I still had some spots I had to use acetone and some mineral spirits to get the smudges of adhesive off. Looks good!

It's actually my neighbours! I was using his driveway at the time.

He's got a 1949 Chevy Pickup that he's working on there. He's more or less just trying to make it run, not a full restore. He's got an S10 frame under it and a 2.8L V6 from the S10. He's going to paint it flat black and put some baby moons on it.

His truck next to it is a Dodge Little Red Express. With the semi stacks and wood box. It's all original and has been hiding in there for years! Under the tarp he's got a 1971 Dodge Dart.

In other news I installed a new MAF finally. Hope that code is gone for good.

Still need to find a tire rack (haven't looked yet) but I did order a new MAF sensor yesterday from Rockauto, so hopefully that will sort out the code that it always throws.

Not sure if you've found a tire carrier yet, but my brother was at the Edmonton Pick-n-Pull last week and he said that there were 4 or 5 2nd gen Blazers there with tire carriers. That was a week ago, but you might fine a useable one there.

Hmmm... do you know which one it was?

I'm heading to Calgary this weekend to pick something up there.... you guys will have to wait to see...

So I wouldn't mind hitting somewhere in edmonton if they're open since I'll be going through there.

Do you mean which Pick-n-Pull? The only self-serve one I know of in Edmonton is in the NW, just off Yellowhead Trail on 118A Ave, near 184 St.

The Calgary Pick-n-Pull on Barlow Trail is way bigger though, if you have time (and tools). Probably 4 times as many vehicles.

Oh wow they're even open until 6 on weekends. Sounds like a job for sunday while I'm staying in Edmonton for the night. My neighbour just bought a cordless air ratchet replacement. That and a T-50 torx and I'd be set. I like the idea of getting to pick my own tire carrier better. I could get the one with the least pin wearing.

Thanks for the heads up!

Well the pick n' pull didn't quite work out. Didn't have time to go down there so I'm still outta luck on a tire carrier.

I did however make it to Calgary to pick these up:

It was about an 1100km round trip for them lol. I took a couple buddies with me and we met another friend who lives in Calgary, then I met a friend in Edmonton and we went to the show, then I drove home and arrived at 3:30 am.

Now I need to find a place where I can get them re-finished because as you can see there is a bit of pitting happening on them. I'll then get some parts of them powdercoated and pick up some new center caps.
