Default Project:BlaknBlu

Well, I realized that I haven't done a build thread yet. SO! I will go ahead and post the mods I have done so far. Here we go!!!

This is what she looked like 3 days before I bought her.

First thing was get rid of the deflector. It's on my mom's Bravado now.

I DIY'ed a custom grille, but after a week, I didn't like it, so I ditched it.

Tinted the tailights

They look sinister, lol.

Clear signals

Blacked the bowtie

LED dome

removed the crossbars, but had to put them on Friday to carry a Banana

Debadged the tail gate.
I also have a Pioneer deck installed. Looking for a pic...
I know this isn't the most exciting build, but not having a job kinda puts a damper on your progress. It'll get exciting when I get another job!

As she is now.
Finished de-badging 2-28-10

Future plans!!!
*DONE* New radiator and hub assembly.
New Spider injector(switching to multi-port)
3 inch drop
20 inch Boss 327 rims

Street scene mirrors in Blue
Hood with cowl
Finish sound system with Pioneer Components up front, Pioneer 6x9s rear, 12" Rockford Punch sub, Alpine amps for sub and speakers
Leather seats
New taillights with a better tint, and LED bulbs. Or maybe custom building a set to go behind the lens.
Clear Headlights with HID low beams
Smoked Headlight covers so I can take them off for night, stick them on for the shows.
*DONE!*Finish de-badging
Finish de-striping
Shave roof rack
Cold Air intake
performance programmer
Bigger brake swap from either a Trans Am, or Impala SS. Not sure.
Lock rite Locking rear diff.
Edelbrock SDT muffler, and new exhaust that exits out of dual Vette tips like mdehoogh's.

Thanks!
And the Black bowtie cost me four bucks!
Buy a can of Krylon Fusion (it's made for plastics, and requires NO sanding, so you get a glossy ginish) and lay down two coats on that bad boy!

Okay, I now have a better pic of my debadged tail gate. I couldn't do the doors because it's been raining all day. But those will be removed tomorrow or Friday.

Very nice Matt.. Kinda suprised you haven't had a build thread up until now tho. Anyway I like your truck, always have. It's always so clean!! But I guess it helps you live in Florida lol.

My suggestion: ditch the pinstripe

Haha, thanks.
As for the pinstripe, that's slowly going away. If you notice in the last pic, it's receded a bit.

The radiator is a fun job.. Did mine something around 3 times so far... got it down pat....

Can we just swap out the disc brakes that easy?
