i run stock housings with my HIDs and have great light output. i would love projectors if they didn't have such crappy build quality.

if your box you currently have is 2.0 cubic feet you could actually have a much smaller box because type r's only need .65-1.0 cubic feet sealed. ported is 1.0-2.0 cubic feet.

does that help?

3.) Would it be better to just buy a single HID kit throw that in the low beams and calling it good rather than spending the $400-500 for projectors? How big a difference is the light output?
You can get pretty small sealed boxes but a single sealed box is way smaller. Even a single ported box is smaller than a sealed dual sub box. I have a single ported box it takes up about a 1/4 space in my trunk. You shouldn't rub you are running the stock 31's on your blazer right? My stock tires didn't rub with I had them on my blazer when I got my wheels so its probably the equivalent to a zr2. and yea I run HID's in my highs and lows in my stock housings. The only reason people say you should get projectors for HID's is that the light gets distributed much better than a reflector housing. In other words there are super bright spots in area's when using reflector housings other than that there isn't a real problem running them in the stock housings.

MTopper and Bennedict1337

Thanks so much for youre response's!
I think i will just get a pair of 5k HIDs for my Lowbeams and leave it at that for now just to see what i think.
As for the sub question I'll still have to see what i want to do and what i have the money for
And lastly the Cragars i will most likely be getting for christmas along with a spare tire to match the rest of my wheels =)

Thanks again for all the input!

#1 eBay projectors are the great man i have a set i finally have them fully adjusted this took so long because of school and i had to run to the junk yard for some retainer clip things lol
#2 i would look into blackrock wheels personally i like them better than crager and it comes with the caps instead of having to buy them extra im looking at the blackrock lobos there pretty much a crager soft 8 just i think better build quality
#3 HID's are great i have a set of 8000k in my dads truck and we have to have them on low beam or else it blinds everyone and they think its high beam i love HID's im going to get 2 sets for christmas for my blazer

I took a look at those wheels and like what i see! Do they make the correct 5x4.75" bolt pattern for our blazers?(i found out that they do)

Do any local tire or wheel stores carry these? or is the only way to buy them online?

There's nothing truly wrong with them, but doing it over i would want something of higher quality to improve the quality of my truck. But they do work just fine and are inexpensive.

I think these would look pretty cool on your truck. The polished lip look is growing on me...

you could go with the procomps. Thats what I have. They are 4.5" backspacing too. I think the procomps are about $50 a rim
