Hmm, I think that might be worth checking out next time I'm at the junkyard.

I have a 96 parts blazer that I got the switch out to check. It had the small 3mm light in it. So I checked mine to see if it was the same and they look the same. But I didn't check to see if they would interchange. Maybe they are the same just changed the lights.

Yeah it's possible that it is a 3mm neowedge. I haven't looked at it for almost a year now.

so i got to searching, the hvac, rear wiper controls, defrost, and the 4x4 switches are different in my 98. have you heard anything about the lights in those? or do they have the same lights in them as the older models?

I haven't had a chance to look at those controls in a 98+ blazer. If I had access to one I could figure it all out (probably) But until I get a chance to screw around with one, you guys will be on your own.

So I took a look at my window lock switch light today, and I believe you are right, it looks like a 3mm neowedge socket. The reason I didn't replace it is because there was no bulb there to begin with, so I didn't know what type of bulb it took until you said something.

had to dremel out one of the metal reflectors because the light wasnt going in far enough to get a good connection.
