Project: It's about time.
I think I found the problem.

This little guy with the green clip keeps popping off the vac line. When in 2wd there is no vac to it. When in 4wd there is vac to it. It attaches to the T-fitting that goes to the 4x4 actuator. So I moved it to a new home where it will stay on. (hopefully)
By the way, what is it?

Glad you got that figured out hopefully it will continue to work. As for what it is I have no idea I'm guessing some sort of sensor but I really don't have a clue I'm sure someone much more inteligent than I will be along soon to let us both know what its called LOL...
Yeah it's all plug and play for the leds. I may get around to doing that one day.
Edit: Oh, if you mean for the parking lights then yeah you need to cut, splice, and drill for those.

Ok so I guess I never updated this build.
I finally got my relay wired for the reverse lights to come on when I put it in reverse.
I also made a rough template for the heat shield out of cardboard.
And lastly I installed a 3w pcb led in the engine compartment.
