Hey man....I added you. Thanks for the compliments! It's a LONG way from being done though. Lots of stuff I still need to do to get it looking "good" IMO.

Mine is going in the same spot on the passager side. Hopefully I can get to it before I get holes too. Shouldnt be to bad for you to get fixed though, thats a common area for these trucks to rust out and should be a simple welding job. The paint will be costly tho..

Yeah. I got a buddy who will weld it up for $150. Not too bad at all.
I'm not going to paint it. I'm going two tone with the bottom half done in roll on bed liner for the rugged look and functionality.

Well, I picked up some more paint and come clear yesterday. The plan for this weekend is as follows:

-Paint chrome on top of the front bumper
-Touch up paint on grille (didn't make it through the winter very well thanks to my lack of sanding lol)
-Clear tails and corners
-Install new O2 sensor
-Replace rear pads
-Remove/hollow out cat convertor (it's plugged/bad).

All that and if I'm lucky my roommate might be buying a welder (theres' one on sale at Canadian Tire) so I might get my rust holes fixed for free (except material) AND I'll get to learn how to weld!! . But of course that's only going to happen if he gets the welder...which I'm not sure if he will.

If it is going to be a while between the time you patch the holes to the time you do the final paint\bed liner, be careful what primer you use.

Some primers are meant to go without immediate paint. Others need to be painted right away or may actually cause more harm then good. = draw moisture and speed up the corrosion process of the new patches.
