Ohhh, haha I get ya. Yeah I like the look of the black a lit better. It was a hell of a lot easier to do too compared to if I went with body colored. I forgot you painted yours lol...I didn't think they had color coded ones til 02.
I really like the whole black/blue theme of my truck now. It's lookin' really good and clean now IMO. I was going to de-chrome the front since I hate chrome, but it fits in really well I think.

Chrome can be good if there's not too much of it. I agree... the blue/black looks good. I was kinda surprised how well I liked the tan/black theme once I had mine all painted up.

You should slap a body lift and some 31's on it next!!

Edit: Oh and I couldn't help but notice your sig says 118,000km and the pic of your dash reads 181,000km hehe

Looking good, I think you'd need a Westin Bull/Safari Bar to balance out those tail light guards... Just my opinion though.

I thought about doing the black thing with my rims, but decided they fit with the black/chrome/silver I've got going on outside the truck.

Martin - And thanks for the sig tip lol...I didn't notice that. Don't know why I put 118k lol, it wasn't even close to that when I bought it.

wlorton - I was planning on it, but I completely forgot lol. I realized after taking the pics. I'm going to do it when I do my spare tire carrier. They will all be done in undercoating.

Pat - I do plan on it eventually. Roof lights are coming eventually too. I'm taking a break from spending on the truck right now though...probably the last thing I'll do for the winter. Gotta heat the house over modding the truck lol.

Nice... I like how everyone here is pretty much the hands on type and doing their own stuff, I figure once the adjuster tells me what I can do, I might be getting my hands Pretty Dirty...

That's the best way to do it man....no fun in letting someone else work on your truck. Gotta get the hands dirty. Hell, my right thumb is black right now with paint

BTW - I do plan on undercoating my wheel wells and frame before the winter...so it will be even more black/blue.

Looks good. Did you use spray paint? If so, how do you think that'll hold up to the salt on the roads in the winter?
