NEW HOOD!!!! FTW..... but its currently not painted and will not see the weather until it is... Debating about flat black or matching my blazer with bright red.....

I am going to find out when my painter can get it done.... and then that will lead to when I can install it... I might test fit it this weekend and post pics...

That is the worst thing about going to college... the garage and all the good stuff doesnt come with....

So this week is spring break:

Goals:
1. repaint some of the frame and underbody parts
2. Tint tail lights
3. Get shocks and rear springs checked out (squeaky)
4. Possibly buy a cb and get antennas mounted if I can find a setup I like..
5. Repaint battery tray, stupid rust

For sure pictures will be posted during the next week, Monday will start the fun and I will get a few pictures then

Put the first coat of the VHT nite shades, and well, it looks not as dark as I had hoped, but hopefully the second coat will look better, and then unmasking the back up lights for the third and final coat, and then some clear, debating on the underbody issue today or tomorrow, its just soo nice outside to be stuck under the blazer, lol

*update*

FREAKING RUST....

The rear is just rusty as heck... I scrapped a lot of it off and hit it up with some rust killer and then in some spots hit up some rubberized undercoating, and the lights look pretty secksy from about 5-10 feet, I caught some wind and it put a lil dirt on em... They will be cleared later tonight and then installed tomorrow

UPDATE!!! WOOOHOOO....

So I wish I could take pictures... but rain... damn...

Well I am selling my ram air hood, and have developed a squeak in the rear, which I believe to be shock related....

Anyone have recommendations on what paint to use on Plastic? I would like to body match if possible.... and Awaiting to put my blazerforum decal on it

Funds are tight... Me and the Fiancee moved, and needless to say we have a few things to purchase that would make the hood a project for winter/next summer.... and I found a guy who is building a blazer for his daughter, and they have been looking for aa similar hood for about a year.... (oh, and he is a body man so the dent means nothing to him, he works at a local chevy dealership and I will turn him on to the site )

If only it were two month laters... But I got my job to pay for stuff, but the fiancee pulled my arm into getting some nice new furniture for our apartment as it is barren... Also, I grew less fond of that hood and more fond of the cowl hood... This one was ram air...

This blazer has been my baby, I killed it and brought it back, and now she is moanin and groanin when I drive her... I hate to say it, but pending a job with a decent salary, the Blazer will be set aside (for temporary) and a newer car will be purchased.... and yes it will be a chevy.... (why am I being so long winded tonight?)
