bose system?

 

Yeah. Blazers had an optional Bose system on the upper trim models. I've seen Xtremes with the Bose system, but I'm not sure if mine does. The truck already had an aftermarket radio in it, but I didn't like it so I installed my Pioneer deck from my other truck.

 

well i know it was an option but i'm just saying if the speakers don't look like the crap ac delco stuff it's probably the bose....

 

I'm so confused about this.
It has better speakers, and after a few vin searches on Blazers with the Bose system, they all had the same UN0 code, but after some searching here, some posts said the amp is behind the glove box, and... I don't see it.
I don't know.
Whatever, it sounds decent.

 

DECENT IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!! haha, kidding... the speakers are 9 years old and could be past their prime which makes them sound only "decent". bose never impressed me, they have a warm mid but no great highs or lows.

 

My Xtreme still has the orig Bose system and still sounds GR8.. I like the idea of the sequential volume on the radio, love how it works..

 

Okay, little update.

Last week I got some new meat under my truck.

All 4 tires are General Altimax HP. They are an all-season tire with a sort of summer tire tread-pattern. I am thouroughly impressed with them.
I get great grip and response in both wet and dry conditions.

So, now I have new tires, and new Brakes.

Next is an alignment, new turn signals and begin work on my sound system(FINALLY!)

Yep. I'm going to start at the back, first. Subs, and some rear speakers. The stock 6X9s suck compared to whatever I have up front. Then after that will be new front speakers, and wire the speakers up with an amp, maybe.
