Project Southern Ghost
if its just for subs, don't worry about it. interference isn't really noticeable in the subs.
also, if you decide to use the spare tire carrier as your ground, make sure you put the terminal beneath the carrier. so it goes, floor/terminal/carrier/bolt. after you scrape some paint away of course

Alright, Got ya!
OH! I have question about something else. A friend of mine has a fully enclosed box and the subs have neon rings on the cones ( i guess they are mounted cone in or he means the frame) and he wants to know if he can cut a hole in the box and put some plexiglass in to show the neons off.
You guys think it'll cause any issues with the box? I doubt it but wanted to be positive.

I wouldn't touch a box like that before calling the manu. sometimes if a box is being 'repaired' they have preferred sealents and things like that (I might be talking about somethin completly different but it sound convincing eh?)
Yeah, i told him to just look for one with the plexiglass already in it or have one custom made.
Anyways, finished up the wiring for the subs and boy they sound good.
I have the level for the subs turned down pretty low so I can enjoy music mostly instead of just the bass. But they'll get loud.
*EDIT*!
Here's the video

Sorry for the language, my radio doesn't know how to show respect on video.

If I had a custom box and a bigger amp it'd be ridiculous!
But most of the time the subs are turned down pretty low just so I get depth to the music.
Besides, I'm borowing the subs so I can't complain.

i understand completely. i'm the same way really. i have 1000 watts on tap but rarely ever use it. i play radio at half most of the time. so my substage rounds out my music well so i thoroughly enjoy my hobby. looks good and clean though so good job!
