That sucks but ddm is supposed to be pretty damn good. I'm buying from them no matter what. Give them a call.

 

Contact him, as far as I know he no longer sells HID's anymore but held on to a chit load of parts to warranty past customers. I'm pretty sure DDM has lifetime warranty? Tell him the story and you should get a bulb in the mail, he may want you to destroy the current one.

 

Hmm... they are still listed on the web site. I was thinking of buying a set from them or HID Extra. I had heard they are going to stop selling HID's but doesn't look like it yet.

 

Yea. I'm actually on it right now. $296 for 3 sets to my door. I hope they don't stop selling them.

 

DDM offers a great setup. The lights were exactly the color they were supposed to be, and the kit looks to be decent quality. The ballast Looks the same as a BMW's. I might have to just give them a call and see what they can do.

 

Give him a call. Unless things have changed DDM is just selling the rest of his inventory (excluding what he's keeping for warranty claims).

 

I just ordered two 50w kits from DDM for hi/lo on my Tahoe. The HID Extra kit I have installed on the lows isn't impressing me.

 

No bright enough? Or having issues igniting them? I may go a different route than HIDextra when I put my HID's on my Sierra this summer.

EDIT: looking through some forums and what not I've found that no one is certain as to what's going on with DDM's HID sales... first they announce on the bimmerforums that they are no longer selling HID's, then after going out of stock of HID's they miraculously have HID's in stock again... I'm seriously wondering what's going on, but if they're still selling them when I go to buy a kit I'm going with them.

Matt, you should have no problem getting a new bulb or ballast (depending on what's up) seeing as DDM has lifetime warranty. He'll probably want "picture proof" that you've destroyed the defective part, like I had to do when I claimed a blown balast with HIDextra.
