Project SS
Next new item to arrive, a Drawtite hitch. Took all of 15 to install. I wish everything went as easy. I have ordered a ball joint set of 4, a set of front hubs, 4 Rancho RS5000's. When all that arrives I will install the shackles and body lift. I really hate that I have to teplace my factory Bilstein shocks but they are too soft for my liking. Boinga boinga down the road
Upper 80's to near 90. Hot! Nice weather for scrubbin a blazer though. And it needed a bunch of that. It sat for ten years under some big trees. The rear hatch jambs had snails and earthworms living in there. I think all the goo and gook that was on it might have preserved the paint. I wish I had a better camera to show how good it really looks!
I put my SS badges on today. Im kinda bummed, I wish they were just a bit bigger. Maybe suttle is all I need. I did get more toys today. I got these Magnum Hubs because they are made in the good ol USA. Support AMERICA! All I need now to do the suspension is ball joints. I cant decide weather to spend $60 on a set of 4 from ebay that only has a 1 year warranty, or get these $180 lifetime set from power performance. They sure look good http://www.powerperformancemotorsports.com/product.sc?productId=1764&categoryId=18

Just for the curious... That is a man made geyser built for the Railroad in 1916 to mark the beginning of the mountain pass through the Smokie Mountains. Their are no pumps or anything. It uses water pressure coming down the mountain. The pipes get progressively smaller till the water comes shooting out 100' high. The tracks were behind me high on the hill.
