Is your front driveshaft going to work? I had some problems with too much angle on mine until I divorce mounted the transfer case. But I also have a really short transmission.

I haven't gotten that far yet but I'm running a 700r4 trans so that should help. I still need to get the lower a arms and torsion bars out and the front diff. Then I can start mounting the drive train.

It will more than likely be a bit lower. Still don't have engine and trans in it yet and the weight of the bumper. Also planning on running 37-40 inch tires.

Not much progress been working on keeping our daily's running lol. But I did get some slider boxes built this week at work.

Hopefully I'll get the trans n transfer case bolted in this week. Then ill probably haul it into work so I can get everything on the suspension welded in fully.

No real progress on the build lately. I've been keeping our aging daily drivers on the road. But I should have some time in the next few weeks to get some work done on the jimmy. Plan is to have it driving before the snow flies. I did get another major piece of the puzzle yesterday.

Its a fairly low mile 350 out of my dads 79 camaro. Im just going to rering, bearings and gaskets for now.. I have another 350 that I am going to build over the winter.

Finally some progress! I got the Jimmy hauled into the shop at work today. I got the new front crossmember fully welded in and all the ifs brackets and crossmember cut out. The rear end is clean of all the old perches and shock mounts and new perches welded on and the rear end is now bolted into place.

This week ill finish the motor mounts. Then next weekend the drive train will get put in.. Its getting there! I still need to figure out my steering but thats about it.
