It happens, just something to pay attention to in the future.

OK, it's been a few weeks since you guys have installed the lifts, any issues other than the original "zomg this kit will kill you, don't drive it" issue was resolved?

No problems here either. Wheeled it hard every weekend so far- no alignment issues or anything. Still outdoes everyone's trucks...after the tires wear out i'll put the BL on and get 32s".

Just got through all 23 pages lol. I'm quite interested in this project. From the sounds of it, it's easier then installing a BL, which I like. I would imagine even if the shocks arn't A+, they'd be better then 12y/o stock shocks . I'll do some reading on the shocks..

Iroc, our truck are identical lol. Nice to see a BL + RC on a red 4 door w/ rockerguard! Any pics of the IROC? I sold my '83 Z a couple years ago, and my 84 T/A last year, picked up an 85 T/A a few months ago, needs floor(s) lol

if you want to lift your truck the right way and save all of your front end parts such as idler arm cv axles ball joints etc. get the lift. as far as how much lift it gives you is probally the same amount as a tbar crank its just a safer more expensive way. the shocks are better than my pro comp es3000 shocks but you can probally find better. for me the lift is perfect because i got offroading alot and cant be paying 65.00 dollars for a new cv axle everytime i go. from my opinion the lift is definately worth the money and the smart way to go.
