Default Shackle lift

Hey guys I'm considering turning up my torsion bars a little more and buying the rear 2" shackles to run either 31's or 30's. I was wondering of those of you out there who have done it how much extra wear would this put on my blazer. Doing it more for looks than hardcore offroading but also want to know that I could do some wheeling or mudding at the same time if I wanted to. Any tips or info or places to buy shackles would be great. Either pm me or get back to me on here

Thanks

wheelsnparts on ebay has shackles for 36.99 free shipping. i have a set and they are quite nice. or if you want something with a name to back it up check out synergyoffroad.com. i blieve they have a set from fsbtech for 75 for a 2 inch and 2 sets from daystar for 75 and 93 for a 1.5 inch lift.

check on your bushings and bolts for the bottom of the shackles. i had to buy new ones and it wasnt cheap to get it done but definitely worth it to have that much extra clearance and look.

Figured I would help you out a bit here. Click here . Its the suspension tech section. Do some searching around on there and you will have answers to all of your questions. That would also be the appropriate place to post your questions. Hope this helps you find your answers

You mentioned torsion bar crank to...dont go over 1.5" or you will have issues like premature wear

Chances are your probably going to have to do some trimming. A few guys have said they got lucky and didn't but most of us do.
