steering problem

Default steering problem

I just got a 1991 fullsize blazer for parts for mine

i wanted to put tilt steering in mine but this parts blazer the tilt part is REALLY sloppy can this be fixed ???

yeah, theres been a few k5s i owned that did this and even my 1990 pick up truck did it like 5 years ago. google around on how to do it as its been a while for me so i cant provide detailed discriptions but basically you take the steering wheel off and the turn signal switch assembly then you can get at 2 of the 4 loose screws. you can tear into it more to get all 4 but i always been lazy and just locktite'ed those two back in place and have always held
