some slow progress is being made. started rebuilding the tunnel tonight to make it a little larger

got the first layer glued and screwed together. gonna work on the second layer tonight along with the back panel then its off to sand and paint woot

 

Good god I am stoked to see this all together. Wish I could put stuff like this together, but i've only got a 12" type-r and stock speakers that really need upgrading to some hertz or type-s speakers.. depends on how cheap I end up being :P

 

another small update.....got the tunnel done tonight. should be able to start sanding and priming tomorrow night. Still gotta go get paint. Im thinking a satin white will look nice

Paint will come tomorrow. Nick is also molding my kicker kq5 eq into where my ashtray used to be. Woot!!

finally was able to order my resin. got a 5gal bucket of US Composites 435 resin. Should be here at the end of the week. They we can start welding the tunnel in, get the ports cut and in and start resining....woot!! cant wait

 

sitting and waiting for something to happen haha. tunnel work iis always fun to see. can't wait to see the whole thing come together. i'll be in the dc area in august. any shows that month?

 

Coat #1 of paint. Doesnt look like much in the pic but it looks great in person. Decided on an ultra white satin paint.
