I think he said he cut where I made my cut for the 90 and pulled/bent down the crossover pipe and put a piece of flex pipe in the gap.

1979 Ford Bronco with 13" lift, 44" tires. Next to my 1988 S-10 Blazer with 9" lift and 35" tires

I just wanted to add that when I hit the brake hard the yoke at the t-case would bind up due to axle wrap. I bought 6 degree axle shims. They fixed the problem for the most part.
