Jimmy finally got the rear dropped 3". Going to probably do 2" in the front and go from there. Dont need it crazy low since there arent the best roads around here but enjoyably low. And yes... I know its basically got a squat right now. Just trying to get the front drop right so it drives well. Besides that I plan on sanding off the bedliner as best as I can and making it white again and color matching rear window trim and grille/bumper. I give up trying to go for the offroad look on a 2wd, going to do what a 2wd is meant for. Street use! Sadly V8 wont be for another few years.

Awesome! The drop is looking good. I think it'll be a good swap. Maybe even look into an extreme kit for it.

Yeah ill need to do something about the body. It certainly is not pretty right now. Just gonna keep my eye out for some xtreme part out or junkyard vehicle. I've seen like 3 different zr2s in the past year ar the junkyard with full sets of fender flares. Never kept my eye out for xtremes tho until just a month ago when I finally decided I want a more comfortable ride. Not sure if I wanna get rid of the tire carrier or if it'll look just fine this way. I really liked this vehicle I saw on Facebook

Thats awesome! I like that look. Not so much the none functional fender vents, but if done right, that would look sweet as well.

I like the wide stance with the carrier on it like that, gives it a streetcross kinda vibe to it.

The zr2 flares are much wider then the extreme flares, I think that might be a little too much, but can't say for sure without seeing it. There was a lowered zr2 i seen not too long ago on here, it didn't look too bad, but didn't have an extreme kit, it was custom

Oh really? Theres definitely a lot of different ways you can customize these trucks to look good. Too bad I don't really have the tools for custom work. Just bolt on stuff mainly... I think first thing that needs to go is the rims. They're all shot...
