Sorry guys havnt had a chance to work on the blazer in awhile. The front suspension is pretty much done. Just need to throw on the tie rod ends which I'm doing with heims. Then I have to do the spring over in the rear.
I got the Rugged Trail control arms back in the early 90's when they were still making them. They came with a cross member drop that dropped it an inch.
I got side tracked with a 66 Corvette project. Was a highly modified ISCA show car that was retired in the late 80's then has been setting ever since. They spent $180,000 to build it.
A few pics. The last pic was in its hay day.

The guy I got it from was asking $35000. We made a trade deal.
I'm basically going through it and modernizing it. All new wiring brakes adding 1 5/8 tubing all through the car to stiffen it up. Its getting a supercharged BBC making 1023 HP.
I've already done a bunch of stuff to it. I could post pics if anybody is interested.

I remember that car from back in the late 70's and nice to see that its going to get some new love given to it. I don't know about anyone else, but I'd LOVE to see what all you do with this on "modernizing" it.

Where did you see the car? Its amazing I've already ran across a couple of people who remembered it. One in which had a pic he took at a show and he had a magazine it was in which he sent to me.
I was going to restore it back to what it was but it will be much more fun with some modern touches.
