The only issue I can see would be that if you were to flex out the rear suspension. The coil could fall out of place. This would be in a worst case scenario. It shouldn't affect any other type of instal. Jim

You can go to any web site concerning Zuk Mods, and there are very few occurances where a Zuk Mod failed. Honestly I may have seen 1 where the guy used rigid conduit for his brackets and they broke off, but that would be an operator error, not the Zuk Mod's fault.

Even if my shackle or bolt breaks on a leaf the spring wont come out. The spring was compressed to get in with one end unbolted.

Worst case senario would be for both the bolts that hold the leafs on to break and then my U bolts would be loose enough for my axle to shift... But thats worst case senario. If something like that happened honestly the Zuk Mod would be the least of my worries because I'd have to be in an accident for that to happen.

Check out yotatech.com - these guys are hard f'in core. They beat the crap out of their Zuk Mods and they keep going.

Check out the pics below.

Awesome innovation, i'm diggin it.

Can you get a pic of the coil while the blazers on the ground? I'm curious about the angles...it almost looks like the coil would have a slight arc when mounted... like ). Also anyone have any thoughts on long term reliability with the slightly forward position on the leaf pack?

really interesting mod. I like it and not to complicated at all. But does seem like it would put more stress on the leafs. I really wonder the long term on this.

I think the long term result will be the coil giving out earlier than it should since it will be handling most of the support rather than the leaf. But at $40 for a coil....not too shabby
