It's borderline, part of a Macro shot is that tight focus point, which is even present in your credit card shot. There is a pretty good close up of those pebbles though.

lol, when it comes to stuff like this it's all based on opinion, in your opinion it isn't, in mine it is, in Red's it is. etc. It all comes down to the fact that CBR is running the show here and he says it falls under contest rules.

nope not the theme. but its all good. i see the rules are flexible to opinion. i will be quiet and play the rails.
