Thanks for the tips, my paint looks terrible right now. That'll be the first thing I do in the spring!

I'll have to give it a try when the ice is off of mine.

Just be warned, while it might make your colors look the way they are supposed to, it will at best, last 3 or 4 months.

My Camaro has the same problem your talking about, and I once spent 3 days using a 15+ step custom system to get the paint back to where it should be, and yeah it worked, but eventually it all faded back to what it was before.

Yes, totally agree with this post. My black blazer (2002) was just getting a little dull looking, regarding the paint. I used that wax and it came out looking like a fresh paint job. It works a lot better if you have a electric buffer. You can pick one up for like $50

Heres my awesome wax job:

Before:

After:

Two months after....showing some serious fade...

I wrote up on another forum what exactly I did to it, if I can find it again I'll post it here to show you all how much work I did on the "wax job" that made my Camaro look new for a while.

i've tried the Pro Gold before. quite awhile ago actually, on my Jimmy. that early '90's GM dark green was a biotch for fading. worked well on it though, but only lasted for most of the Summer. and then the Ontario Fall/Winter season began...........
