hey all , i finally got my truck to start yesterday after a couple of weeks tinkerin around with it ... turns out i had to buy another battery and loosen the alternator bolt to get it to start ... i tightened back up the bolt and now she starts every single time ... im still tryin to figure out the whole dipstick thing because i figured out why it didnt have any oil on it ... come to find out the dip stick wasnt even stayin in the tube from the engine, theres a hole on the side of the tube that the dipstick pokes out of[sm=WTFsgign.gif] ... so therefore im tryin to figure out how im goin to get it into the engine without comin back out ... if neone has ne suggestions that wud really help id love to hear from neone thnxz again . . . . . .[sm=feedback.gif]

Glad to hear you got it figured out.
As far as the dip stick goes, go get a new tube from the scrap yard. New is prolly fairly cheap as well.
