Default 1984 350 in 2000 4x4 blazer swap

My grandfather and I have been discussing a project together. I have a 2000 4wd blazer with a crack in the head and we have discussed taking the 350 motor out of a 1984 chevy 20 van and swapping the motor. What would have to change in the blazer for the motor to for since it's 4wd? Would the 4l60e transmission in the bolt to and work with the 350 motor?

i think with the 4x4 you have to get a special pan. engine will bolt up not sure if flex plates are goign to be the same, will have to buy engine mount adapters. try googling around and find a build similar to what you are doing. i put a 80s 350 into a 95 2wd s10 like 12 years ago so dont really remember to many specific details

Not sure if your Blazer is an s10? Summit and Jets sell a engine swap kit for s10's. It's like $600. Motor mounts, headers and oil pan for the the engine model and engine specific.
