350 Swap
I just finished my swap but have a problem.I have a 94 blazer and the engine is a 70`s 350 w/ 700r.Well the problem is it has no take offpower at all. I was thinking maybe the torque convertor isnt sitting all the way back on the shaft.Could this be my problem and can it be fixed without removing the tranny?
Well you can adjust the converter with the tranny in. Not too sure if that would be your problem or not. When the bellhousing is bolted up to the block right, the flexplate will pull the converter to it. What TV cable setup are you using? Does the engine run good? Rev fast when in park or neutral?
I took it out for a longer drive tonight and my od isnt working. My tranny doesnt have the cable , so i guess it`s controled by the computer.I didnt remove the comp or any of the wiring. I just tied back the wires i did use.I guess i didnt hook something up.I will try and research the problem to find out what i need to hook up....
It doesnt look like it was made for a cable. The only thing it has is a plug with alot of wires on the same side as the dip stick tube. Also a small connector on the tail with 2 wires.I don`t think it ever had the cable. Its a 94 so is it the 460le and are they controled by the comp instead of a cable?
ehh I don't know anything about the 4l60's. I just know a little after researching 700r4's for my swap. I do think you are right about them being controlled by the comp. Sorry can't help anymore. Although I wouldn't drive it anymore till you get that figured out. You don't want to create anymore damage..
Thanks for the help and im the same as you.I don`t really want to mess with it cause i don`t know anything about 4l60e. I will just find a 9" tail for my th350w/ shift kit and put it in.If anybody has a 9" tail let me know......
