4.3L TBI setup that seams to work great
I have a 95 sonoma with the 4.3 tbi with the 4L60e auto trans. i have the cat gutted and a thrush glass pack for the exhaust. i have a K&N 14in round air cleaner on it with a full MSD ignition system Bosch platnim +4 plugs with a jet stage 2 racing chip on it and also running 5w-30 royal purple oil. I can burn trough the first 2 gears on a dry road with out ever touching the breaks. i can run with a chipped duramax and i still get 19 mpg. I know its not a blazer but same motor so i figured why not share what I have done and got great results with.

I just have the basics a msd coil, msd 8.5mm wires, msd distributor cap and rotary button, and Bosch platnim +4 plugs

i love the tbi engines, chevy had it right with these things they are usually the most trouble free engines ive seen... probably cause there isnt much to them. i have a 90 fullsize with the tbi and that thing runs to dang good... im always looking at the tach at red lights cause it sounds and feels like it isnt running at all.

Sounds like a sweet setup. Did the 14 inch air cleaner come with some sort of mounting plate? What is the hood clearance on it?
Thank you both for sharing.
