4x4 problem

Default 4x4 problem

i have a '97 blazer LT and the problem i am having is whenever i push the 4x4 low button is flashes and it automatically goes into 4x4 high..what is causing this?? how much would it be to replace it??

MY ADVICE IF TO GO TO MYS10.COM AND POST IT THE THEY WILL BE ABLE TO TELL YOU WHATS GOING ON WITH YOR S10 IM DRUNKA ND ABOUT TO HOOK UP WITH ROOMATES SISTER, SO I WILL TALK TO YOU LATA PEACE OUT NIGS

really drunk last night do not remember writting that at all..... you guys should feel honored to have the drunk encounter from me lol actually you shouldnt but hey! it makes me feel better lol

also someone else on mys10.com just had that same prob check it out those guys know what their talkin bout

when you click the 4w low, does it go in 4w low or 4w high? cause if it does that, somehow the wires got switched ... but if it doenst do that, could be a bad relay possibly

I dont know if its the same but my 2000 blazer requires you to be in NEUTRAL before going to 4LO or it will stay in Auto, 2hi, or 4hi.

yes, you have to be in nuetral to put it in 4low. also, there is an updated program for the push-button 4x4 on s10s, blazer, jimmies, etc that you may not have. the old program gets f***ed up somehow over time. i couldnt get mine into 4high at all, so i got it reprogrammed. that could be it.
