Update:

15 gallons gas
214 odometer miles
214 X 1.07 = 229 miles actual
229 / 15 = 15 mpg

Driving conditions this time were 50/50 city / highway. Nothing new to report on this run, just did a few miles of trailer hauling in city and about 110 miles of straight highway @ 60 mph.

Mine ended up being a dirty egr again. 3rd time ive cleaned it in the year ive had it. Im running a little rich and cant figure out why. Ive changed everything imaginable so i just live with it. Im back to 17 mpg now.

Update:

0 gallons gas
0 odometer miles
0 X 0 = 0 miles actual
0 / 0= 0 mpg

Been busy these last few weeks haven't had much time to log my mileage. All seems to be about the same, no changes.

Update:

12 gallons gas
176 odometer miles
176 X 1.07 = 188 miles actual
188 / 12 = 15.6 mpg

Driving conditions were 50/50 city/highway. For the most part summer driving did see a slight improvement in the overall mpg.

I forgot all about this thread. Hows the gas thing going cidium? lol

I clocked mine at getting 14.9 mpg last week. I did the Quarter mod for the tbi,and my gas meilage went down. BUT you can feel a throttle difference for sure. I may remove it later after i get done playing.

I'm a little confused on your math. How do you know you burn 5 gallons of gas befor each 5 gallon fill up? I guess you could fill up at a certain point on your gas gauge but those aret verry accurate. Say for instance you burn 4.8 then fill up 5 gallons then burn 4.7 then put in another 5 then get lucky and burn exactly 5 gallons. Well you will think you burned 15 but really only burned 14.5 and that will change your MPG quite a bit in the negative direction. I don't know just a thought, maybe you already figured this and I'm blabing for nothing lol
