96 blazer 5-speed?
is it possible to use a manual tranny from an s10 and put it in a 96 Blazer?

If it's going into a Blazer with an auto tranny now, you'd have to have the PCM reprogrammed to work properly...
Other than that, you'd have to grab a tranny with the same drivetrain configuration as yours (ie. 4wd or 2wd).

Yea, if the driveline configuration is the same and your blazer was originally equipped with a 5-speed, then it should swap out with no problem. That is, since the S10 and Blazer are pretty much the same vehicle. (yea, I know, one has a bed and one has to have the seats folded down to be a bed. But still, pretty much the same parts)

As long as the s10 has a 4.3 then yes it will work. Thats where I got mine from.
