Default CNG Mechanic

Would love to convert my 94 Blazer to CNG. I'm not a mechanic, but a technical friend is willing to help with the initial conversion. Thereafter, I need to find a mechanic in Central Indiana for regular service. I've called several garages, but no one is interested. Any ideas on how to find someone? Many thanks.

I've recently seen a CNG setup for sale on a forum. I think it might have been s10 Forum, but I remember it being rather pricey.

I know it's not really what you asked, but getting the entiree setup might save you from paying a shop/mechanic to fabricate everything.

You could build a serious monster that ran on CNG... shorten the stroke, turbocharge, and you would be making some serious gobs of power. The only problem is the tanks, they are heavy, and for the size they dont hold a whole lot of fuel.

Isnt that the truth I had 96 Buick lasaber that was converted to CNG The tank was in the trunk and it took up most of it.Hiway driving you got 60-70 miles per tank. Then theres the problem at least where I live hardly any CNG stations.
