Default help with cheap mods

i just bought a 89 4wd blazer and i was just wondering what are some of the cheapers mods you can get to make decent power jumps im open for advice [8D]

yeah i was planning on getting an intake but first i gotta throw the new motor in whoever had it before me threw a rod through the block but i got 1 i can pic up for $200 for it just gotta find time to get it

ive thought about it but its a good bit more work and ive been carless since about christmas[:@] but the 350 plan will come after a little while im sure lol

Well $200 is a good price. i dont know what cheap mods you can do to it and actually gain any performance. but you could try a CAI and maybe a throttle body spacer. but i dont think its gonna help much, maybe though.

DO NOT GET A TBS, they do nothing but make a cheesey wistle. If you want a performance jump, try exhaust with an intake, maybe get rid of the crap lifters that chevy throws on.
