I'm finding that since getting my 95 jimmy all fixed up and running the way it was supposed to my performance is better but my gas milage has gone down a little. I could get about 300 miles on a tank. This week when I filled up it was about 280 miles. Gonna see how this week does.

Can go almost 400 miles if I baby it, its all about maintenance and how you treat/drive your vehicle.

I dont get it, I have a 1998 4dr with a new rebuilt engine about 4000 miles ago and im only pulling about 14-15 mpg, new fuel pump and filter too. It seems to just drink gas!

These trucks don't get great mileage, but 14 -15 is still poor. Was your rebuild done to stock specs, or is it tricked out at all? Reasonable driving habits?

Before I got my 2002 (19-20 mpg) I had a 94 Jimmy. The mileage on that vehicle went down to around 14 when the CPI (fuel injection unit) went bad. When I opened the plenum, there was raw fuel laying in there. Did they replace all that stuff?

peace
